Steel Material Warehouse
BELGIUM
In this large steel material warehouse in Belgium, the lighting upgrade had to address a vast industrial space without replacing a perfectly usable infrastructure. TRIECO's Universal Retrofit Module provided the solution - connecting directly to the existing Philips trunking system through a compatible flying plug and transforming the original fluorescent installation into an efficient LED lighting system.
Instead of dismantling long runs of trunking, rewiring the facility or modifying the ceiling structure, the existing rails and circuits were retained. The LED modules could be installed directly onto the original system, significantly simplifying the retrofit process and reducing both installation work and disruption within an active warehouse environment. Our Retrofit Module is designed specifically for this approach, with compatibility across 30+ mainstream European trunking systems and tool-free installation and removal.
Across the high, open warehouse, the new LED modules form long, orderly lighting lines alongside the roof structure and skylights. High-output, professional optical options allow useful light to be distributed efficiently across storage and handling areas, supporting clear visibility around heavy steel coils, circulation routes and crane operations. Our Retrofit Module platform offers multiple beam distributions and high-efficiency LED configurations for demanding industrial spaces.
Compared with the original fluorescent tubes, the retrofit brings the advantages of modern LED technology - higher efficiency, more consistent illumination and reduced maintenance - while extending the service value of the existing Philips infrastructure.
